Read More →

As you know we have created Simplib to centralize the best websites of the web in one place. A very talented developer joined us as Simplib CTO and made us “get out of the box” to focus on the real problem: What is a good website? That’s why we started a research on the qualities of a good website. What satisfy an user after using a website? Is it a nice design? the reliability? the quality of content? The communication?… The best way to answer these questions is just to ask people! Being user centric is really important to us, we believe in people and their emotion to create a better web. Simplib is a worldwide project based on feelings and quality. You can contribute by filling this survey http://bit.ly/XTk1GS It would help us a lot This qualitative approach is interesting for users, who could use Simplib like a Tripadvisor for ... Read More →

I really believe in the power of the Internet, this ability given to the people to empower innovative tools and accomplish together brilliant missions such as Wikipedia, Twitter, Quora, and O’desk but I could think of many others like Stack Overflow. These tools revolutionize our world with their visions, making information travel faster, knowledge accessible for free to the world and the ability to work from anywhere, anytime. Dematerializing more and more things that are then so much quicker to be spread around. From Agricultural Age, where most people had almost only the option to be a farmer (in the best case), we have shifted to the Industrial Age with its factories, cities, and workers. And we are now entering in the Knowledge Economy. This new Age is creating a gap between two worlds that are separating around the use of technologies. In such periods of transition, the main challenges ... Read More →

Founders tend to focus on their product. We all love to see our product evolving with more and more functionalities. Are they all necessary? This is the question you should really ask yourself before you start to code any line. More, ask your customers. Have you ever thought that you were doing this product for them and not for yourself. Customer development is the primary focus all start-ups should have. Finding the solution to cure your customers’ pain is where you primary focus should be. Product development and customer development should always go by pair. You should ask yourself questions like: “What is the need for your solution. What job will you do so much better than others and why will they pay for this service”. Finding your need is not always obvious but necessary if you really want to know what is your market size. How can you create ... Read More →

What problems are facing startups? No idea, but I’ll tell you about ours. And first and foremost that we do. You need great technicians to achieve your dreams and those of your users. How to provide a unique and great product that improves the lives of your users? By surrounding yourself with top-flight developers, the “unicorns” rare gems that will lend their expertise to your product. More than skills, seek excellence in people you work with, looking for love and passion in what they do. In Simplib, we almost make the mistake to be impatient and choose to work with a provider who only saw in us one more client. We had reason to expect, we had reason to wait and look for better. Today we found a developer who has brought more than his skills, he brought Simplib his passion, his knowledge, his desire to surpass his excellence. We valued ... Read More →

Currently doing the famous Founder Institute incubator program, I will try to transmit you what I have learnt there and how great it is to evolve in this up-rising environment. I came there to listen and observe some of the best mentors on the planet such as Yann Lechelle, CTO @ Appsfire, or T.A McCann, Founder @ Gist. Whether they come from the Silicon Valley, Seattle, London or Milan, they all have something valuable to say that you can implement within your company. If you have questions about your project, and you don’t know how to answer. Interrogations on your vision, your product or on how to do a Marketing Plan you should definitely get the F… out of your comfort zone and apply to the next session of the Founder Institute. I would highly recommend to all people with energy and ideas to enroll in this program. Thus, if ... Read More →
